Chuck: Welcome back, Bloggaday Readers. This is part 2 of Song of the Week 31.
Tom: Hey, Chuck.
Chuck: … What is it, Tom?
Tom: After the show yesterday, I went to a shrink.
Chuck: Really? Doesn’t really seem like you.
Tom: It was just to analyze my dreams.
Chuck: Oh! Anything interesting?
Tom: Well, she said it was a lack of sex that’s bringing me down.
Chuck: Was she from Freud’s camp or something?
Tom: I don’t know. I showed her the pictures and videos of me with you’re wife-
Chuck: TOM!
Tom: Well, long story short, basically told me that I should quit whining ‘cause my life’s just a bore.
Chuck: You know what else was a bore?
Tom: What’s that?
Chuck: That story.
Tom: ??? That’s “Basket Casket.”
Chuck: Huh?
Tom: The beginning of yesterday’s post and that right there were our last song’s lyrics.
Chuck: Are you sure?
Tom: … No, I’m just screwing with you…
Chuck: Okay, that’s what I thought. Should we recap our songs?
Tom: …
Chuck: How about I do it. Our songs this week vying for the title are

Tom: Wow, Chuck, you were almost professional doing that.
Chuck: So I was miles ahead of you then? Thanks
Tom: Whoah, buddy. Songs or funny, you can’t do both.
Chuck: Well, what is our song for this week, Tom?
Tom: … I’m keeping my eye on you.
Chuck: The song?
Tom: The SotW is…
Paul: dududududududuudu
Tom: “Basket Casket”

Chuck: Well, congratulations, Green Day. I hear they even have a new album coming out. Is that true, Tom?
Tom: That is in fact a true statement Awesome as F--K comes out sometime in March.
Chuck: And isn’t there something about Green Day and Broadway that is equally as relevant and true?
Tom: Why, Tom, that is also a valid point you are currently making. American Idiot is a Broadway musical based on Green Day’s album of the same name currently playing at the 1709-seat St. James Theater.
Chuck: …
Tom: …
Chuck: Well, folks, thank you so much for joining us for another edition of the Song of the Week. As always, I’m Chuck.
Tom: I’m
Chuck: And we’ll see you real soon.

New to the Bloggaday? These are the essential posts to see
158 – Boxer V Brief – Short, concise joke machine and a DYNAMIC ENTRANCE! to my favorite Bloggadays of the Second Trigaday
159 – A Phthalates-filled Sbarro Breadstick – This was just a funny Bloggaday despite the essence being something no one will get unless the look up what a phthalate is
174 – FNtCCA,aToTbDD– While I think it’s clear I rarely EDIT the Bloggaday, this train-of-thought post shows how much I have to FILTER it…
183 – SotW 13 – This one had it all. Pretty much every bit that’s been a major player in the SotW made its way into this one, so it’s a good one to try.
134 – SotW 5 – This particular Song of the Week featured the characters a bit truer to their original concept. After a while, I started liking Tom too much and changed him a bit which caused changes to Chuck.
227 – PWND: TSHBRotCCPS pt16 was some solid fiction content. Plus, that was probably some of the finest Final Thought I’ve ever thought up.
