Bloggaday 266 – SotW 23: Cowboy pt 4
Chuck: Greetings one last time from Tom and Chuck for this, the 23rd Song of the week.
Tom: Is this the first time a SotW has had 4 parts?
Chuck: I think so, Tom, and since we can’t seem to actually get anything done, then perhaps we should just get started.
Tom: Sounds good to me. Umm… Where are we content-wise?
Chuck: The week of fiction.
Tom: Oh, that’s right. So, as Chuck explained last time, the Bloggaday Author muffed the Halloween special, so to right that wrong in the eyes of the Bloggaday gods, and in honor of NaNoWriMo, he is posting a week of fresh fiction.
Chuck: And what’s this fiction about?
Tom: You have absolutely no ability to make the script sound conversational, do you?
Chuck: Just tell us what the story is about.
Tom: Well, a few days ago, “Bloggaday 262 – FU pt 1” was actually part 1 and introduction to the story. I suppose then, if you want to know more about it, you should go there then.
Chuck: Well, do you want to at least give the Bloggaday Readers a hint at least?
Tom: Mmmm, no, not really.
Chuck: You have to say something about it.
Tom: Alright. This particular stretch of fiction is a character introduction for Xylon. It isn’t necessarily the first chapter or anything, but it was the first thing written for the story. Oh, and he’s made out of wood if that helps.
Chuck: Okaaayyyy…
Tom: Don’t worry; it’s not a reimagination of Pinocchio or anything… I think. Don’t worry, it’ll work.
Chuck: Well, with the story taken care of, what else did we need to talk about?
Tom: IIII… have no idea.
Chuck: Come on, Tom.
Tom: What?!? I’ve been reading my the manga the last couple of Bloggadays.
Chuck: But we need to talk about the “Tom Standard.” How do you not remember that?
Tom: Oh, that’s right. A Tom Standard is… It’s like when I say I sleep with your wife or call you a douc-
Chuck: Okay, all right. I think that’s quite enough. We get the picture.
Tom: You know what? I think we should end the show with some of my greatest standards.
Chuck: No, I don’t think we need to do tha-
Tom: After all, a Standard is a great that transcends time and can be appreciated always.
Chuck: Yeah, but we don-
Tom: Since my partner here is going to try to stall us out to our wordcount, I’ll just do the outro myself.
Chuck: It’s not that I’m tryin-

227 – PWND: TSHBRotCCPS pt16 was some solid fiction content. Plus, that was probably some of the finest Final Thought I’ve ever thought up.
