Bloggaday 285 – Exaggerific Disney Twitter pt 1

So I went to Disneyland a couple of weeks ago. I decided to tweet as I was there. I will say, I was there for their special Halloween Party thing, so as I spot costumes I like, I tweeted about them…

This particular saga will last 3 posts, so it’ll go until the next Song of the Week with Tom and Chuck*

This was my first tweet form Disneyland. I decided that I would number the rides I went on. Unfortunately, I decided that I would number the crazy-ass entrance as number 1. You don’t know why this is unfortunate yet, but you will by the end of these Disney Twitter Bloggadays.

The main reason why it was so busy was the Halloween parades they were doing.

While it would appear that I added an extra “famous” to my tweet, it will always be doubly famous in my heart… >.>

The Jungle Cruise is one of my favorites, but this one was kind of meah. They did add some new stuff though.

Another timeless ride from Disneyland. Well… I guess it can’t be timeless when the changed it to include Captain Jack Sparrow and other movie-related characters.

Now, that may have come off a bit judgmental, but I don’t have any problems with the updated ride. It’s still a classic, and I dig the Sparrow singing at the end.

4 the haunted mansion and the first "slutty" Alice 7:29 PM Oct 15th via Twitter for iPhone

I’m calling it… 7:29 and the first slutty costume… The line for Pirates was long, but I think this might have been the longest line of the night. It’s close either way. I must say though, I enjoyed both the Nightmare Before Christmas-themed Mansion ride as well as the first slutty outfit of the night.

But wait! A ways into the line, I spotted, oddly enough, a slutty Indiana Jones. I know, weird, right? And it was “slutty,” not “studly.”

Just before we got into the Mansion line, they announced that everybody who didn’t get a ticket for the special “Halloween Event” would have to leave the park. For the Haunted Mansion, they started letting only those with the corresponding orange wristband on rides.

For Splash Mountain, that wasn’t the case. It was so dead, there weren’t even any employees at the line front.
