Bloggaday 124 – New Post Up and the Essential Bloggadays

Bloggaday 124 – New Post Up and the Essential Bloggadays

For just about the entire Bloggaday, I’ve included links to all of the sites where you can find my stuff. After each site, I would offer a little something to describe the site. Well, a while ago, I rewrote the little bits that came after, and I kept meaning to post the revised linkage. I never did, but I figured since The Bloggaday is moving into its 2nd of 3 phases, I would do the changeup now.

A majority of the little things now are based off of songs (something I did with 2 of the old links). I figured I would go through each and give them a little shout out

Exit stage right to my corner of the interweb > \/ (Not music related, but I change it for the new Trigady)

http://twitter.com/daviddysart Plaster Caster Twitter Strutter (From the Kiss song, “Plaster Caster” Nothing special about the song, it just sounded right)

http://daviddysart.tumblr.com/ Hung My Head in a Tumblr (From Sting’s “I Hung My Head.” I love the song and it fit well.)

http://thebloggaday.blogspot.com/ A Little Less Conversation and a Whole Lotta Love (“A little Less Talk” by Toby Keith, “A Little Less Conversation” by Elvis, and Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin. Just mash-up nonsense for this one.)

http://www.facebook.com/thedaviddysart?ref=sgm If I Never See Your Face Again (I thought it clever, from Maroon 5)

Youtube Awesomeness

http://www.youtube.com/user/DavidDysart Still deciding to try to capture it or let it slip (From Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.” Fitted my feeling towards Youtube. I’m not really sure what I’m going to do with it)

For the Piccaday

http://s1000.photobucket.com/albums/af128/daviddysart/Piccaday/ Says I broke it twice, I must have done it half a dozen times (Nickleback’s “Photograph.” Really just because of photobucket and photograph)

http://thepiccaday.blogspot.com/ Because Yesterdays ain’t got nothing on me (A little less quoting, but inspired nonetheless from the Beatle’s “Yesterdays”)

http://www.flickr.com/photos/daviddysart/sets/72157623465996877/ From the nest in the hills chillin’ with Flynt (Lastly, we have Kid Rock’s “Cowboy.” Where can I get some scripts at?)

I think that it’s a rather impressive variety of music used, but that’s just my opinion.

On top of revising the current linkage, I thought I would tack something else on here. As I went through my old Bloggadays to get material for the clipshow, I earmarked some of my favorite Bloggadays. I figured, “Hey, I could point people to these great posts and trick them into thinking that the crappy post they just read was a fluke.

Well, I figured I would add a couple more links and just give them an idea of what I was trying to do with the Bloggaday. Since I’m just adding them and they’re a new feature, I didn’t do any snazzy quotes like I did with the other links.

New to the Bloggaday? These are the essential posts to see

1 The basics (One of the last second adds. I’m still torn if I should include just because of how long the entire thing is)

http://thebloggaday.blogspot.com/2010/02/bloggaday-1.html

3 Get PWND with story content (Another addition, I figured I should link to story content here so people know that I’m looking to post that kind of stuff up)

http://thebloggaday.blogspot.com/2010/02/bloggaday-3-1st-pwnd-edition-ever.html

73 Mash-up of science and relatable humor? It’s just Bloggaday (This was one of my favorites that I set aside, and something that I strive to recreate in future Bloggadays)

http://thebloggaday.blogspot.com/2010/04/bloggaday-73-pwnd-with-side-of-bacon.html

85 Deadpan humor and drama, what more can you want? (Another one of my favorites that I spoke about earlier. I’m sure there will be future Bloggadays like this)

http://thebloggaday.blogspot.com/2010/05/bloggaday-85-my-public-apology-for.html

118 Maybe some practical real world advice drowned in humor. (Another of my favorites here to fool potential readers into reading further posts)

120 My new favorite segment, the Song of the Week with Tom and Chuck. (Not one of my earmarked favorites, but I really do like the SotW, so I decided to add a link to one of them. Once I write a better one, I’ll replace the link.)

I realize that my new post-ender is crazy long, but I think I’ll keep it anyways. I suppose it just makes the footnote I put at the bottom of every post* a little bit more special. I’ll change it up in another 120 days when I finish up the second Tigady (1/3rd of the year-long Bloggaday). Hmm, it’s kind of sad; I went through 120 of these posts and only had like 3 favorites. Does that mean I’m doing something wrong?

At any rate, that’s all in the past. I have no place to go but forward (and at least numerically upward).
