Bloggaday 145 – The Youtube HD Difference

Bloggaday 145 – The Youtube HD Difference

As many Youtuberes know, Youtube offers different qualities of playback. This allows people with a faster internet or desire to see something in a better quality to have just that option.

Now I didn’t really think it would be THAT big of a difference, so I decided to check it out. I used clips from The water tribe video from The Last Airbender* here

I’ve got to say, I was rather surprised at the difference in quality. I was working off a 13-inch macbook, but it has an “HD” resolution. I took some screenshots and compared them. I’ll add those here

Here is 720, 480, 360, and 240

And a side by side of 720 and 240

As a last bit to this, I just got my official “you no longer work for us” papers from the US Census Bureau, and it looks like I qualify for Unemployment Insurance. Granted, it’s only $41 a week, but I’ll take it.
